The common misunderstanding in Thailand is that it is enough to feed some stray dogs. Maybe for your Karma (or what you think it is), but not for the animals. They actually have usually enough food, but not always a healthy diet and diseases are spreading fast. If you want to really help a stray dog, then adopt it. At least, spend some money for a check up with a vet and get the dog castrated/sterilized. If you have difficulties to catch the dog, use a simple leash with a sling instead of a dog collar. Gain the trust of the dog until he/she allows you to be touched. Then gentle get the sling over his head. Reward good behavior with food.
